Whats blue, smart and has fur all over?

Wonder Wednesday! 

Its Wonder Wednesday! A day I talk to you guys about one of my favorite superheros (or evil ones) and share some cool info!
This week this guy won!

There's just something about a guy reading a book completely zoned out from the world! (Even if he is blue!)
For those of you who don't know this is the Beast!!

His given name is Henry "Hank" P. McCoy and he is from the Marvel Universe. 
He was born in Dundee, Illinois and did not have the best childhood. His dad worked for a nuclear power plant and was exposed to massive amounts of radiation. Because of this Hank was born with abnormally large feet and hands. (He did not turn hairy and blue till later.) One friend showed him kindness and compassion, and stood up for him with others teased him.

As Hank grow up his superhuman strength and natural athleticism allowed him to be a star on his high school football team. One game robbers ran across the field and Hank chased them down with ease. Because of this the evil villain "Conquistador" kidnapped his mother and father to con Hank to come to the dark side. Of course this is when the X-men swooped down and saved the day. They also offered him a spot at Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters. Where Hank earned his Doctorate in Genetics. 

This is where he turns all blue and hairy. To stop his coworker, who also was working on gentics,from stealing govenement information  he had to take a hormon extract. He had just found out this hormonal extract causes genetics. Hank took the extract and underwent radical physical changes that enhanced his agility and strength. 
But this also caused him to turn blue, grow fur and fangs. He found the longer he stay in this state the harder it was to turn back to normal until he was permanently blue. For a while he tried to hide it but later learned to accept what he had become.

This is where I will stop! I want you guys to go read his story for yourself! He is such a smart and sassy nerd! The only difference between us nerds and him is that we aren't blue and furry! Sometimes I envy him because he can hang down from rafters with his feet and read!!
